REMINDER

All students were given back their midterms and work completed since the beginning of January. All paper work from before them was sent home before midterms. Along with the midterms , they have a paper which has to signed and returned to school tomorrow, showing that you received your child's papers.

4th - Complete outline for compare and contrast essay. DO NOT BEGIN THE ESSAY YET.

As midterms have come to an end, the folders are due back to be used to store the midterm and future quizzes and assessments. I do not need the old test back , just the empty folder for both reading and social studies. Please send the two folders back to me by Monday.

MIDTERM GUIDE


Dear parents,

Midyear exams  will be given the week of January 22 , these test will cover the material covered in school from September till January ( Unit 1 and 2). Below you find a study guide of what students need to study.This guide has some minor updates from the guide posted in December.  Students should have reviewed notes and vocabulary words during the Christmas Vacation as they were instructed to take their notebooks home. If you have any questions, please ask this week as, next week it will be too late.

3. base word: word that can different endings to change the time the word happened in. ex. walk
4. suffix: word part added to a based word at the end to change the meaning or tense. ex. ed
