REMINDERS

1.HOMEWORK SCHEDULE most likely will stay the way it was last week. Check later on this week for a posted schedule.

2. VOCABULARY WORDS - Words are given in class with definition, but they will be found in the links at the end of this post, in case any student has missed the words by the end of Monday. Words will be added as we learn new vocabulary words.

3.MATERIALS: ALL students need at least 3 sharpened pencils. There is a sharpener in the classroom, but it must be used in the morning, not throughout class.

4.UPCOMING EVENTS:
-September 25- half a day- 12 O'clock dismissal
-October 1- If you signed your child up for sacramental program (baptism, reconciliation or communion) they must attend church at 1pm and sit with Mr.Woods in the front left side of the church ( where the choir sits during school masses).

5.I was not able to find affordable plastic zip lock bags for students to use to go upstairs for Mrs.Ramsey's class. My suggestion is to send in a light weight bag where students could put their science books (2nd grade) or social studies book (3rd grade) when they go upstairs for class, instead of carrying their rolling bags.

FIRST FULL WEEK OF SCHOOL REMINDERS !!

FOR 2ND AND 3RD GRADE

1. Students in 2nd and 3rd grade were given their religion books. Those were sent home to be covered with contact paper. It could be clear or color (if it covers the image from the cover make sure to write the students name on top).

2. 2nd and 3rd grade are going upstairs for one class a day ( science for 2nd grade and social studies for 3rd grade).  I have looked into big sturdy ziploc bags with handles. I will be traveling to a store today, hopefully they have enough for everyone. Will keep everyone updated on this.
