- Study for test on Mr.Blueberry's vocabulary and the skill of inference. *This test was scheduled for Friday, but due to the half a day, time did not allow it.

- Homework: Complete WB page 88 to review vocabualry words and study authors purpose and vocabua;ry words from "From seed to plant".

- Social studies test on Chapter 8.
* There was suppose to be a social studies exam of chapter 8 this Friday, but the students unanimously decided that they prefer the test on Monday due to the Reading state test that they are taking this week. The notes for this chapter will be given to the student in a printout.
* Students were informed of being able to do 4 news paper articles that will count as extra credits. Some students cannot do 4 as they may have articles that they gave in , when it wasn't required. Students were told if they had extra credit articles completed already or not.

Finish unit 3 review if you didn't finish in class.

Progress report announcement
The May calendar says that progress reports will be sent home on May 12, it has been moved to May 31 instead. Please be aware that you child/ren will not bring a progress home until May 31.

Monday : If you didn't finish the chapter 8 review questions in class, you must do so for homework. If you finished, review for reading state exam.
Thursday: Social studies homework- civil rights article.
* Students were informed of being able to do 4 news paper articles that will count as extra credits. Some students cannot do 4 as they may have articles that they gave in , when it wasn't required. Students were told if they had extra credit articles completed already or not.
