Social studies: Create a list of the things located in an industrial zone, identify if its need or want and explain what would happen if we did not have that zone in social studies notebook.

Vocabulary words- Reading
1. detective: a person who solves mysteries or crimes.
2. solve: to find out the answer to a puzzle or problem.
3. case: a mystery for a detective to solve.
4. except: everything but.
5. prove: to show that something is true.
6. Investigate: to search for something; to look closely at something for clues.

Vocabulary words- Social Studies
* 1-6 are still the words from last week.
7. Scarcity: the problem between unlimited needs and wants and limits on natural and human resources.

Reading quiz- based on vocabulary words and Sarah plain and Tall.

Vocabulary words- Reading
1. pesky: troublesome
2. stall: a small compartment for a domestic animal in a barn or shed.
3. buzzard: a large bird of prey, similar to a vulture, with a hooked beak and long, sharp claws.
4. charcoal: dark grey residue consisting of carbon and any remaining ash.
5. dunes: a sand hill made by the wind near the ocean or a large lake or in a desert.
6. mica: any type of clear or colored minerals that have crystallized and can separate easily into very thin layers.

Vocabulary words- Social Studies
1. Israel: small country about the size of NJ located in the Middle East within the continent of Asia.
2. Jerusalem: the capital of Israel
3. Shabbat: a day of rest.
4. Shekel: Monetary unit ( name of money used in Israel).
5. Hebrew: one of the official languages of Israel.
6. Arabic:  one of the official languages of Israel.
