READING VOCABULARY WORDS

Wail: to cry out because of sadness or plain.

SOCIAL STUDIES VOCABULARY WORDS
-Suburb: a place outside the city. There are lots of houses
and not many buildings.
-Urban: a city. A place where there is a lot tall buildings,
cars, people and, public transportation.
-Rural: an area of open spaces. There is a lot of land, but
homes are very far apart and one must travel to the town or main street to
shop.
- voyage: a trip or journey from one land to another.
- ship: a large vessel that moves on water either by sail or engine .
- discovery: the act of finding something new, that no one else knew about.
