Fourth grade: Hispanic heritage month Project

The fourth grade students will be completing a project in celebration of National Hispanic Heritage month. This month long celebration has been in place since 1988 and extends from September 15 to October 15. On September 15, the students read information on various Hispanic historical figures featured on the scholastic website.

Students were instructed to choose a Hispanic person in history to work on. Students are  instructed to inform me when they decide on the Hispanic Figure they want to work on. Below is the link for the scholastic site we looked at in class. Students are encouraged to revisit site if they have not decided on the person they want to work on.

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage month.

*Not all students have given me names on the people they are planning to do. It is imperative that the students do so, as handing in the name is part of their grade and the overall project is worth 100 points.
