REMINDERS AND VOCABULARY WORDS FOR WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 14-18

REMINDERS

1. There will be an an opening school mass on Tuesday September 15, 2015.

2. On Friday September 18, it is 12 O'clock dismissal.

3. FOURTH  grade parents check the previous post for information on required reading book.

4. ALL PARENTS send in signed documents by Monday September 14.

5. HOMEWORK SCHEDULE is as follow;
          Monday and Wednesday : Mrs.Bagley and Mr.Badia
          Tuesday and Thursday : Ms. Saville

6. VOCABULARY WORDS will be given and written during class time.

7. EXTENDED DAY begins this week. Fourth grade will stay on Tuesday for math and Thursday for ELA. Third grade will only stay on Wednesday for math, ELA will begin next Tuesday September 22 


HOMEWORK FOR SEPTEMBER 14, 2015 DIE SEPTEMBER 15, 2015

SECOND GRADE:
- Complete Superkids workbook pages 3-4.

THIRD GRADE:
- On looseleaf, write  paragraph explaining the importance of having books available.

FOURTH GRADE:
Click below and watch the video. On looseleaf write a paragraph explaining what the video was about.

HOMEWORK FOR SEPTEMBER 16, 2015- DUE SEPTEMBER 17, 2015

SECOND GRADE:
- On looseleaf answer the following question in 2-3 sentences; How are suburban communities different from urban communities?

- Complete the reading worksheets that began in class: Create 2-3 questions based on the quotes provided. 

FOURTH GRADE:
- Using the transcript of "Haudenosaunee or Iroquois?"
1. Underline things that you understand or know about.
2. Circle or underline words that you do not know.
