REMINDERS AND HOMEWORK FOR WEEK OF OCTOBER 12-16

REMINDERS

1.. HOMEWORK SCHEDULE is as follow;
          Monday and Wednesday : Mrs.Bagley and Mr.Badia
          Tuesday and Thursday : Ms. Saville

2. VOCABULARY WORDS will be given and written during class time.

3. EXTENDED DAY: Fourth grade will stay on Tuesday for math and Thursday for ELA. Third grade will on Tuesday for ELA and  on Wednesday for math

6. THIRD AND FOURTH GRADERS as we continue writing the gist of non-fiction text, we will need post its. Please send small post it with your child to school this week.

7. QUIZ: This week students will be taking quizzes in social studies and reading  as follow.
Thursday October 15- Reading

8. ACHIEVE 3000 assignments are posted on the post before this one, Check It out! Assignments that  students began in class must be finished at home.

9. Quizzes from last week are being sent home. Students must make corrections on looseleaf and attach to quiz. The quiz must be signed by a parent and return by Thursday. If this is not received back with corrections and signed by a parents, future quizzes will not be sent home.

10. Hispanic Heritage celebration will be on Wednesday October 14 in the lunchroom.



HOMEWORK FOR OCTOBER 14, 2015- DUE OCTOBER 16, 2015- will be posted on Wednesday 

SECOND GRADE:
-  The story on Achieve only needs to be read, there are no questions to complete.
-  Students received all their reading and social studies quizzes. Parents you must sign and return the quizzes. Go over them and make corrections on looseleaf for the questions that were wrong. Label the looseleaf with the quiz you are correcting. For example:
Quiz 1:6:1
3.
5.
etc.



THIRD GRADE:
- Students received all their reading and social studies quizzes. Parents you must sign and return the quizzes. Go over them and make corrections on looseleaf for the questions that were wrong. Label the looseleaf with either READING or SOCIAL STUDIES


FOURTH GRADE:
- ACHIEVE 3000:  Finish the assignment from Achieve 3000. The following are the lessons that need to be completed; Native American Schools Fight Sickness. The though question is to be done on looseleaf.

-Students received all their reading and social studies quizzes. Parents you must sign and return the quizzes. Go over them and make corrections on looseleaf for the questions that were wrong. Label the looseleaf with either READING or SOCIAL STUDIES

-Reread pages 12-14 from the Iroquois Confederacy book and complete the 4 square graphic organizer.
