HOMEWORK AND REMINDERS FOR WEEK OF NOVEMBER 16-20

REMINDERS

1.. HOMEWORK SCHEDULE is as follow;

          Monday and Wednesday : Mrs.Bagley and Mr.Badia
          Tuesday and Thursday : Ms. Saville

2. VOCABULARY WORDS will be given and written during class time.

3. EXTENDED DAY: Fourth grade will stay on Tuesday for math and Thursday for ELA. Third grade will on Tuesday for ELA and  on Wednesday for math

4. EXAM: This week students will not be taking quizzes.

5.MAP A MONTH: Due next week on November 19

6.REPORT CARD DAY - NOVEMBER 20 FROM 1-7 pm. Only 5 minutes per parent to accommodate all parents. Any specific questions about certain work, quizzes , etc needs to be address at separate teacher meetings.

SECOND GRADE:
-If not completed in class: Explain how your Native American tribe lives using natural resources to meet basic needs (shelter, food and clothing)? on the index card and then draw the matching image on white paper.
-EVERYONE answer the following question on looseleaf. Copy the question, answer it and draw and color a matching picture.
Question: How and why does Christ make life more true and more fulfilling?

-Reading: Exercise given this morning #9

-Achieve 3000: Finish the activity of the article "Try, Try Again" on achieve  and then thought question on looseleaf. -ONLY THE THOUGH QUESTION GOES ON LOOSELEAF.

*Continue working on map of the month it is due THURSDAY
*Bring in the money for the books that we will use this module; some students need $6.50, most need $8.75. If your child does not remember their amount, send the highest and I will send back the change.

FOURTH GRADE:DUE FRIDAY 11/20
-Achieve 3000: Complete  the thought question on looseleaf AND then complete the main idea worksheet using the same article.
