Enormous: very large.
Granddaughter: a daughter of one’s son or daughter.
Grew: became larger.
Planted: punt in the ground to grow.
Strong: powerful
Turnip: a kind of root of vegetable.

Second grade parents
- The following are the vocabulary words for the story " The enormous turnip", which the students will read next week. These words have to be written on index cards.
