FOURTH GRADE
- Read pages 118-119 from social studies book and answer questions #1-3 on a looseleaf questions and answers. Then on a separate looseleaf do the Sharing viewpoint in paragraph from using details from the readings. Do not do the part that says as a class.

SECOND GRADE
- Answer the following questions in your reading notebook. Students started in class and some finished.
1. Why does the teacher say to Mrs.Henry that " she must have really needed a job"?
2. When the teacher begins praying, Mrs.Henry gives a weird look. Why?
3. Why did the father get fired?
4. Why does the father get upset at the people from the NAACP?

The questions are based on part 3 and 4 of the movie Rudy Bridges. The links for those parts are below. Please do not allow your child to go ahead  in watching the movie besides part 3 and 4.
*Our Unit is A road to freedom, so we will be focusing on many important people and events in the rights of African Americans during the Civil Rights movement and the Civil War.

- SS- If you didn't finish classwork, finish at home. People Together page 45 trying the skill #1-3 in sentence form. Ex. What is a compass rose. A compass rose shows directions.
