SECOND GRADE

1. Quiz on Monday will be on social studies. Study vocabulary words and information (notes in social studies notebook) on what are taxes  and the types of taxes that exist.

2. Jury System project, due Tuesday. Below is the outline per page.

1.Monday May 18- Quiz on China(notes on introduction, geography, cultural life and farming notes).

2. Tuesday May 19- vocabulary words on China (words were homework on Monday May 11)

3. Friday May 22- Reading quiz on Chapter 1-5 of Benjamin Franklin Book and vocabulary words #1-7 from this past week. 

4. Tuesday May 26- Reading quiz on chapter 6-8 of Benjamin Franklin book and vocabulary words #8-10 from this past week. 

5.Project on China due May 26. Check below for explanation.


FOURTH GRADE

1. Monday May 18- social studies quiz (retake of chapter 7)

2. Wednesday  May 20- social studies quiz on chapter 8

3. Thursday May 21- reading vocabulary words from this past week. 

3. Friday May 22- Reading quiz on Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing chapter 8-10. 

4. Map a Month on Africa due May 20. 


REMINDERS

1.  May 22 is half a day. 12 O'Clock dismissal.

2. May 22 is progress reports

3. May 25 is Memorial day- NO SCHOOL

4.May 26 is the field trip for second grade- make sure permission slips are sent back. Any questions see me in the morning or afternoons or send  a note.
