IMPORTANT REMINDERS FOR ALL!

Second grade:
- Each student has a name of a Native American tribe written in their notebooks (Seneca, Chinnok, Hopi or Sioux). They also have a white piece of paper and construction paper. They will use this for a mini-project for social studies due Thursday.

1.On loose leaf write your full heading, skip a line and in the middle of the paper write the name of the tribe.

2.On the loose leaf write the following questions with the answer that you will find either in the textbook or online through a quick research. The answers should be short and simple, something the child understands.
          1.Where did this tribe live?
2.what was their homes like? What were they made out of?
          3.What did they eat?
          4.What did they wear?
5.An interesting fact about them is ....

3.On the white paper draw a picture that matches what you have found about the tribe. For example if they fish, include a drawing of a person fishing.

4.Then paste the white picture with the drawing onto the construction paper. Make sure you send to school both the looseleaf and the construction paper.

*Mini project is worth the same a regular project which is worth the same as a quiz.
*The social studies textbook has a lot of the information required in pages 120-126.
