REMINDERS, VOCABULARY AND HOMEWORK FOR WEEK OF FEBRUARY 1-5

REMINDERS

1. HOMEWORK SCHEDULE is as follow;
          Monday and Wednesday : Mrs.Bagley and Mr.Badia
          Tuesday and Thursday : Ms. Saville

2. VOCABULARY WORDS will be given and written during class time and will also be listed on the lesson plan and on a link at the end of this post.

3. EXTENDED DAY: Fourth grade will stay on Tuesday for math and Thursday for ELA. Third grade will stay on Tuesday for ELA and Wednesday for math.

4. EXAM:NONE this week as module 3 is just starting.

5.MAP A MONTH :Will be given this week. It will be the first Map of the Month for quarter 3.

6. WEEK CHANGE: Half Day Friday. Report Card Meeting 1-7 pm.

7.ACHIEVE 3000: When a student submits a though question or written response, it will get graded and then the comments I make will be emailed to the students Achieve 3000 mailbox.

1.Complete pages 370-373.
2.Complete pages 373 # 4 on looseleaf.


THIRD GRADE:
1.Complete the notes on Achieve 3000 using the "$2500 Car"


FOURTH GRADE:
1.Social Studies page 153 # 1-4 Questions and answers on looseleaf.

SECOND GRADE:
1.Define the following words in your social studies notebook. 
1.campaign:organized action in order to achieve a particular goal.
2.petition: a letter signed by many people asking those people who have power over something to change something. 
3.ballots:slips of paper or machines that provide a way to vote secretly.
4.strategy:a clever plan for achieving a goal.




THIRD GRADE:
1.Copy the reading words #1-13 found in the vocabulary links below. We review these words in class and is imperative you have them in the notebook. This is due Friday.
