REMINDERS
1.HOMEWORK SCHEDULE is as follow;

2. VOCABULARY WORDS - Words will be given in class with definition, some will be define for homework. Below are links for each grade vocabulary words for module 4.
3.FOLDERS: folders with reading and social studies work from quarter 3 was sent home on Friday April 22. Please go through the folder with your child and save test and quizzes that will be helpful when studying for the final exams in June
4.Map of the Month was given out on Monday April 25th and will be due May 18th.
5.UPCOMING EVENTS: May 4th is Star Wars Day -Students may also dress up like their favorite Star Wars character. There will be a best costume contest during the day to which parents will be invited.
6.Scholastic books: If you ever want to order books for your child from scholastic outside of the time I place orders, you can use the following code; PK9XQ. This will have the book orders sent to school , also it helps us earn points /books for students to borrow.

SECOND GRADE:
1.Reading: Use the 4 event chart and create a short story(2-3 sentences per box) with 4 events only. Using first, then, next and last.
2.May Calendars were sent home today.
THIRD GRADE:
1.Reading: Using the text " Life in the Pack" CLICK HERE FOR ARTICLE (the print out is missing 2 pages, that are on the link) and complete the text dependent questions that are in the packet( #4-6)
2.Work on the map of the month "Mexico and Central America" - due May 18 (Map was given to EVERYONE).
3.Finish the activity and the though question for "For the Fans"
FOURTH GRADE:
1.Social Studies: page 231 #1-4 on looseleaf. Answers only in sentence form.
2.Reading: make sure that reading vocabulary words are defined in notebook (10 words: restricted- venture)* most of these words were defined in class.

2.Study social studies vocabulary words (toll, tax, luxury, imported, exported- words can be found in the post below if not in the notebook) and also notes from 4/11, 4/12 and 4/18, which is about Types of taxes that exist and in the notebook, in case Click here for notes.

1.Social studies: Though Question using "On Thin Ice"
2.Study social studies vocabulary words (hardiness, interactive, planting zone and temperature- all found in the notebook and in the vocabulary post below).
